We have long recognised that to deliver the majority of our strategic aims, we need to work in partnership. To ensure that we maximise the benefits of partnership working, during the forth-coming year we are planning to conduct a comprehensive review to ensure that we maintain the strategic focus of our limited resources. We believe that there is a very strong relationship between the Government's themes of neighbourhood renewal, social inclusion and crime reduction and our own strategic aims and targets. We engage in these agendas in three ways:

Firstly, we work through wider strategic partnerships such as Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP) and Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships
- Secondly, through more direct partnership working with our key partners
- Thirdly, by acting alone. In order to better deliver against our strategic aims and targets we have recently re-aligned the Service to better conform to the boundaries of LSP's and Dorset Police. This has allowed us to work in a more integrated way and to better relate to areas of concern to our partners.
