SafeWise Media Project
SafeWise is a new local Charity that has been established to operate the community safety education facilities and resources at Weymouth Community Safety Centre.
The community safety education facilities include, FireWise a real fire behaviour demonstration area with full size realistic domestic scenarios (both pre and post-fire) and IT learning facilities, and HealthWise a partnership with the National Health Service to provide innovative health education to the community. Plans are also developing for RoadWise, a small but life sized road network to teach road safety awareness to the community. The resources for community use include an information technology suite, several meeting and lecture rooms, a café, and a dance studio.
SafeWise would like local young people to get involved with the charity by entering our media project competition.
The media project competition is divided into two parts, as follows (click on each one to download more details):
- Competition 1 - Logo and Branding (applicants aged 13-21 years old, closing date EXTENDED TO 18th May 2012).
- Competition 2 - Promotional Video Clip and Graffiti Wall (applicants aged 16-25 years old, this competition is ongoing with an initial closing date 25th May 2012).
