


A Property Services Manager, who leads on the 'contractor-side' of maintaining our property. With responsibility for ensuring that the Authority’s stock of property is maintained to a high standard for effective and safe operational purposes, and improved or altered as necessary to meet changing legislative and Service requirements within allocated budgets and in accordance with the Property Asset Management Plan. In addition there is also responsibility for both scheduled and unscheduled building maintenance inspect ions of properties and identification of any potential projects for inclusion in the minor capital works programme, including management of all projects in accordance with recognised internal and external standards and all relevant legislation (i.e. Building Regulations, Town Planning Policy, Health and Safety Legislation.It is also a legislative requirement to facilitate the Annual Maintenance requirements for the Authority’s stock of property.
A Property Services Surveyor who supports the Property Services Manager in ensuring that Dorset Fire and Rescue Service (DFRS) property stock is maintained to a high standard and is fit for safe and effective operational use. Also carrying out both scheduled and unscheduled building maintenance inspect ions of properties and identification of any potential projects for inclusion in the minor capital works programme.
