The Service made a commitment in the Community Safety Plan 2004 -10 to strengthen its performance management arrangements.
The Audit Commission has recently carried out an audit of our current arrangements and the final report was presented to the Fire Authority on the 11 October. The work that they undertook also included a review of our risk management arrangements in order to support the development of a risk management strategy, a requirement identified in the Community Safety Plan.
