ALP - Aerial Ladder Platform
Used for high-rise rescues and as a high reach water monitor.

BASU - Breathing Apparatus Support Unit
Used to support the wearing of Breathing Apparatus by Fire Fighters.

CSU - Command Support Unit
Provides incident control and command support facilities for use at larger incidents.

ESU - Environmental Support Unit
Used at incidents involving chemicals and other hazardous materials for support and decontamination.

ISU - Incident Support Unit
Combined appliance that uses pods to provide services supplied by ESU, and provide additional foam at incidents.

L4T - Light 4 wheel drive vehicle with Hose Reel
Provides off road capabilities to combat heath fires and so on, where no roads are available to reach the fire.

RQ - Special Rescue
Provides specialist rescue capabilities suitable for use in deep water, cliffs and high rise structures.

DWC - Demountable Water Carrier
Three demountable water carriers carries 10,000 litres each of water for use on fires where there is limited water available locally.

HOA - Heavy Off-Road Appliances
Dual purpose appliance used for fighting fires off-road, on heath land and in areas where it would be difficult for a standard appliance to access.  This unit carries a 9 meter ladder.

WRLR - Water Tender Ladder Rescue
Dual purpose appliances used for fighting fires and for rescue where heavy rescue capability is not required for example, road traffic collisions involving light vehicles.  This unit carries 9 meter and 13.5 meter ladders.
